We educate children living in abject poverty who may otherwise, never receive any formal schooling.
Opened in February 2012 in the port of Tema New Town, near Ghana’s capital Accra, St. Nicholas is run entirely on voluntary donations and receives no state funding. The origional school building was built with a grant from the Maria Tsakos Foundation and land donated by the Tsakos Group.
The St. Nicholas Foundation, a UK registered charity (Charity no: 1164193) was set up in November 2015 to support and oversee the school and we are also a registered NGO in Ghana. Please see ‘What we do’ to find out more about our school today.
